The Canadian Mortgage Brokers Association of Ontario held their annual professional development symposium in October in Ajax. C.M.B.A. is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing the mortgage industry with advocacy, networking opportunities, education, and licensing courses for its members.

Mortgage brokers, mortgage agents, lenders and industry professionals attended and Coach Christine was the keynote presenter leading a motivating session on creating your competitive position in the cluttered marketplace answering the key question, “Why YOU?” (and not your competition.) Other symposium presenters included, C.M.H.C. (Canadian Mortgage and Housing Corporation), Senior Account Managers, David Muriella and Jason Vyner spoke on the risky business of identify fraud while a lenders panel featured representatives from Equitable Bank, Optimum, Home Trust, and Secure Capital and Equity Financial.
